A dovecote is a shelter for pigeons doves. It's also a Risograph press located in Beacon, NY.

Dovecote Press is run by Alex Mayer and Beau Collins. Thanks to our backgrounds in painting and poetry, we specialize in creating bespoke print goods such as: fine art prints, poetry chapbooks, stationery, wedding invitations, and anything else well-suited to black ink on paper.

We print on an RZ220UI using only black ink (for now). Because our machine is on the older side, it can be difficult to source working ink drums. But we take B&W as a creative challenge, and add color to our prints through a variety of finishing techniques like duplexing and spot painting.
